Grace in the Wreckage Collective, LLC is a community-centered wellness and social-impact organization dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations through culturally responsive education and collaborative solutions. Based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, we embrace a listen-first approach that fosters trust, resilience, and meaningful connection. Our mission is to create transformative programs and initiatives that promote healing, growth, and community empowerment.
We believe in the power of community-informed solutions and collaborative partnership. Through our comprehensive approach to wellness, education, and organizational development, we guide communities toward sustainable change. Our work encompasses culturally responsive programming, leadership development, and social impact initiatives designed to help individuals and organizations thrive while honoring the unique strengths and voices of the communities we serve.

Dewanna Lewis, LPC
Founder & Community Wellness Strategist
Dewanna Lewis founded Grace in the Wreckage Collective, LLC with the belief that meaningful community solutions should be developed with people, not simply for them.
Her professional background spans behavioral health, community-based services, assessment, program development, education, and organizational leadership.
Her work centers on listening to community voices, building meaningful relationships, and transforming what is learned into education, programs, partnerships, and action.

The Well Collective is a community listening and engagement initiative created by Grace in the Wreckage Collective, LLC to better understand the strengths, concerns, priorities, and opportunities within Hattiesburg and surrounding communities.
Through surveys, listening sessions, community conversations, and partnerships, we create space for residents to share what is working, what feels missing, and what they believe would help strengthen community well-being.
